I am Fahmida Akter, a proud graduate of the BBA program (Major in Finance) from the 7th Batch of Daffodil Institute of Information Technology (DIIT). Choosing DIIT for my higher education remains one of the most fulfilling decisions of my life. Every success is built on a strong foundation, and DIIT provided me with exactly that—reliable, nurturing, and empowering. Throughout my BBA journey, I continuously reinvented myself under the guidance of inspiring and dedicated teachers who helped shape my academic excellence, professional mindset, and personal values. DIIT equipped me with the knowledge, confidence, and discipline needed to compete in an increasingly competitive world. I feel truly fortunate to have been a DIIT student. As Ellen DeGeneres once said, ‘Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, and never follow someone else’s path—unless you’re in the woods and lost, and you see a path. Then by all means, follow that path.’ This philosophy has deeply influenced my journey. In 2015, I returned to DIIT as a faculty member, driven by the belief that teaching is one of the most important professions in the world. Through quality education under the National University framework, we shape future leaders and professionals. As Marilyn Monroe wisely said, ‘You have to know exactly what you want out of your career. If you want to be a star, you don’t bother with other things.’ I extend my heartfelt best wishes to DIIT for continued success and excellence.
